5 Ways To Sense You

5 Ways To Sense You

A Poem by Rosauro Brillantes
"

Realized how strong our senses remember things

"
I feel you wringing my heart out dry
To watch drops of you dripping by
I dare not hinder and ask you why
In fear your reaction might just deny

I see you catching all my tears
And swallow all my deepest fears
Soaked in time throughout the years
Watch as only one eye clears

I taste your kiss that stroke my lips
Pull away and I'll feel the rips
Two hearts fall and sink like ships
Feel no moisture, but water drips

I smell the scent you gently wear
To trigger you, so I despair
A lovely scent which floats through the air
Which has been switched for us to share

I hear your voice as you try to say
Your heart will be going far away
In hopes to change our past I pray
Your love to come back, and here to stay
