Athenema

Athenema

A Poem by Rosauro Brillantes
"

Loving the silence of winter

"
In a silent world of will
Where silence is furthered still
To follow the willow's whisp
And find winter's air so crisp
We'll see our lives drift away
Witness our souls stray
Eternity to forever last
And see eternity forever pass
Love so broken for filtered art
My eyes to see us drift apart
And while my heart slowly beats
I understand my greatest feats
Undoing all my flaws with pain
I hope in life there's you to gain

In a silent world of will
Where silence is furthered still
And yet something still familiar
But nothing all the similar
Everything but some is lost
Time stands still like frost
The mist and air and steam
Reacts like we must redeem
Remains unchanged. Ungrabbed
Betrayal face - backs stabbed
And so we die away
Forever until today
Unquenched passion of my soul
Yet I'm not in control
