Married to Crazy

Married to Crazy

A Poem by Fifty and dying
"

a poem about being married to a mad man

"
for the past 17 years I have been married to crazy
by now he has become dirty and extremely lazy.
He goes about his day nodding off and dazing out
I always have to raise my voice and shout
get up!! you're sleeping, he gets up and blinks
take a shower, why he asks. because you stink
sex is now a thing of the past
the vital member is gone why ask
He complains all night and day about pain
I just wonder when he will finally be sane
My advice to anyone out there
don't marry an addict, it's unfair
you will suffer and never have sanity
because they will always uphold their vanity
thinking only about themselves for that rush
meanwhile you will have your dreams crush

I like the rhyming scheme, and the thoughts that stayed true with the rhyme.

Keep writing...and if you can't leave for whatever reason (I perfectly understand the thousands of reasons why), then ignore him...and honey! Buy some Febreeze and spray that Twizzler once in a while!
