Silence

Silence

A Poem by roses101

The beeping noises from the machine signal life, yet one steady scream from the machine could mean the end. I stare down at my scabbed over arm with a nice sized needle in it then look down at my thin and boney hand. I grab the rubber cord coming from the beeping machine and rip it off my finger.
Silence.
