Oceans Apart

Oceans Apart

A Poem by rosesofgrey

Crashing waves ‘neath ashen skies

teardrops slipping from thine eyes

Murky depths of silver mist

Never needed, but sorely missed

Ocean glass and ivy vines

An empty seashell broke in twine

Seashell shards catch sunshine’s ray

The tide will pull the bits away
