A Poem by Ross Davison

help less
romantic
(i
confess)
films heart
sing
endings in smile lite
light
rain soaked cobblestone
river walk umbrella
(h)
serendipity
(e)
whisper love from slated rooftop
and cotton candy stuffed toy prizes
(l)
take my hand
touching soul warm, scent
(p)
lilacs in breezes of palpus osculation
jacob’s ladder picnic under willow tree
while whippoorwills play their conversation
amongst chimes butterfly, kiss
a
n
d fall,
winter sweater weather in fuzzy lined boots
(as beautiful as you are)
grinning and vibrant
leaves highlight aura, hair radiance
i
(me)
awkward and ecstatic
dreams of
in quilted down comfort
and spooning,
cubby hole restaurant
charm
(i
can’t
for get

you)
