Dramatic

Dramatic

A Poem by Cadence Killday

Stunning, dramatic pale-white flesh

On which upon, my head will rest

Eternally, for sickness and for health

Swoon with him forever, and for myself.

Contrasting niceties to reassure

That his face is what my love is for

Still aging more, I see less of him

And so I think the final end begins.

Though still to hear his striking voice

Engenders my inevitable choice

To keep our life and for the best

Upon his dramatic pale white flesh.

aging seems like a painful process to witness slowly and you encapsulated the effect beautifully I keep getting the image of the couple from the beetlejuice movie on the table decaying. And your decision to accept the inevitable process seemed hard at first but easy to decide. g00d piece =)
