Haunted House

Haunted House

A Poem by Shygirl

Walking in the haunted house, but it seems like no one is there.
All alone in the house will give you quite a scare.
Lightning strikes and thunder booms, lighting up the shadows.

Where is the host?--WAS THAT A GHOST!
Run away as fast as you can.
Don't make me beg--WHAT TOUCHED MY LEG!
Run away as fast as you can.

The dark is closing in around me, don't know what to do.
The spiders and witches are calling me, I wish I only knew.
--WAIT! The way out! Running as fast as I can!
Now I know, next Halloween, I"m never going to the Haunted House again.
