Dreamless Nights

Dreamless Nights

A Poem by Bekka
"

I sleep and dream and die.

"

Just as well - say I forget this life

every time I arise.

Freedom: bloodshed and laughter -

it seems so far away, it seems surreal.

Delusions don't feel his good.

Somedays I wish to forget -

to find a dreamless sleep.

Days drag on - more a fancy than not.

If death be the door, I must take it.

If not, my soul shall wander alone forever.

Cold blood we share - cold hearts cold veins.

May 'morrow never come; may I never 'waken.
