Beach Walk

Beach Walk

A Poem by rubie

Beach Walk

moonlight painting

shiny silver beaches

shadow footprints speak our path

as we walk along the shore

arms around each other,

heads close together

laughing with the wind

telling secrets about the stars

and naming the waves

as they break gently on the sand

barefoot tidal mambo

surf lapping at our toes

sand sliding back to the sea

grain after grain, magically drawn

like a lover going home

and we stop to honor the journey

holding our intention to be as strong

and our love as vital

and rhythmic as the tide

Having Beach walk's one of the most fascinating, manifesting & daring things in the world but the time makes some room for lovers so as even the beach could smell how generous their love is. Winds adore their presence across shore; water kisses their toes & the symphony of dusk (when sun comes down to get hid behind hills) is all what pleases 'em with another tequila shot of love-bites (magical love). They find some kinda peace right at ov'r the land of beachy-Island where they sprawl all ov'r the web-sun-baked layer of golden sand & enjoy spending time with each other till the night makes another room for their manifested love. Excellent portray of lovearcs you've come up with. Loved the choice of your words. Great job!

There is a gentle and inviting current running along this beautiful walk on your moonlit beach. Your words, the ebb and flow of tides, forming waves that wash over the heart and soul, pulling away a little of us as the the poem recedes to a close, leaving us with the salty reminder that we are lucky to have been here, at this time and in this place to enjoy this moment. I didn't have to leave my seat to take this walk... such powerful imagery and figurative language have painted another beautiful picture, Rubie. What an artist you are!!!!

Thank you so much for you kind words.
damn, you are on a roll...i understand the significance of this...and the waves will touch our toes, just like love...but because of time and circumstance that touch will recede , so the journey must be savored for each moment of it.
