Body Language

Body Language

A Poem by rubie

Body Language

connected at the core

riding wave after wave

in a timeless ocean

we fall breathless

sucking at the universe

for precious air

while hearts pound
explosively

and
 hands are left to speak

where there is no
resonant voice

to be heard

and
nothing left to do

but smile

You are most kind, lynn.
Thank you for your visits. Much appreciated.
Sorry I'm totally stalking your page lol

This just flows so effortlessly and wow is it beautiful
and hands are left to speak

You capture this perfectly, when no words are needed and the actions speak for themselves !!
Love this! :)

Don't mind the stalking at all....
I appreciate the visit and the comments.
For a second, I thought that your inner voice's being liberated from your heart/spirit to this page & speaking well to readers. I must keep this poetry saved in my general reading so as I could read it whenever time gets me the pies of winds. Beautiful imagery you've painted 'pon words! Enjoyed it to the fullest!

Ahhhhh.....a passionate build up. Nothing else matters but the two hearts pounding and the four hands touching. Wonderful. Lydi**

Thank you so much for your kind words! Love that it made you feel this way....
my favorite, universal language... the physical movements in this piece fulfil the title's promise and I am left smiling at the volumes spoken in that smile... bravo, Rubie... :)
