DaoDeJing 3

A Poem by Aliza
"

third chapter

"

With no sense of compliment;

The door of dispute remains closed.

With no sense of regard for value;

The door of theft remains closed.

With no sense of attractiveness;

The door of longing remains closed.

In this way the wise rule;

Voiding their thoughts,

Packing their stomachs,

Slowing their drive,

And fortifying their frame.

Through absence of realization and drive;

They will not act.

Through absence of action;

Tranquility endures.
