A Poem by Runo N. Savel
"

Your shadow never comes

"

I wait in the moonlight

Your shadow never comes

Left alone again

With the dreams I had

My sense of hope

Once again proven false

I blame you not

For the fault is mine

I was given a curse

By the stars themselves

Destined to be alone

No shadow will I see

But I tried to disobey

The rules of the stars

I tried to create

A sense of happiness

An end to the loneliness

The forbidden emotions

It was selfish of me

To bring you into this game

To waste your time

With my cursèd soul

The time you spent

Talking to me

Could have been time

You spent finding

A soul not cursed

So to you I apologize

Show your shadow not to me

But to a soul

That is not cursed
