Phoenix Children

The Mushroom...
Miles tall,
Looms overhead
And we walk together,
Gazing into the Eyes
Of lost souls...
Who have slipped
On the Lilly Pads of Life
And can’t walk the water.

A smile,
Dry but sweet,
The new life awaits.

Like the Phoenix,
As a role model,
The survivors go...
On their Way.
