Held in the past

Held in the past

A Poem by mendedwords

Life is
Fleeting, failing, loving
In the hands of the maker given to the hands of the holder
Rushed, embraced, held like no other.

On tomorrow's plaque, on yesterday's back burner
Changed, controlled, manipulated with consequence. Solved with no sum,
Subtracted but not without addition.
