That Lonely voice

Again and again, I hear it.

Alas, a lone voice calls out in my defense

Those words my only shield

Just another stain on their happiness

Every shadow another demon I'm not yet ready to illuminate

Lies still exist

 Untold dreams reveal themselves

Nightmares long to hide again

Crawling along with them, I call back to the lone voice

It's me

A nice read about self reflect? Maybe justifying a wrong? Either way it's a nice short read, that's easy to follow,a little dark, without completely depressing the reader, which is nice.

My only criticism, if you're interested is the reusing of the words defense and nightmares, but that's just me. I thought over all it was a very nice write.
