Nature's Heartache

Nature's Heartache

A Poem by SabrinaShall

My head is a mess
It feels like a hurricane.
My heart is shattered,
like a broken mirror on the floor.
My eyes a different shade,
like the angry sea.
Butterflies no longer linger here.
It feels more of bees,
stinging my heart.
The stem of a rose,
with no petals left.
Beauty is gone from this place.
I long to plant the seed,
to make things peaceful again.
So many thoughts in my head,
everything is crumbled together.
I don't have one clear thought,
it seems as if I'm looking through a muddy puddle.
It's so cold here,
when I don't feel your love.
