Immortal Love

Immortal Love

A Poem by Sabbath_Nikole

Immortal love

7/19/2008

Blood on the pavement

The moon and lamplight

Fighting to cover our shaking forms

We become things of another realm

Our bodies spill over with raw anger and rage

Our emotions entangle our good sense

Reactions come quicker than thought

Blood bright on the pavement

Panic like bile rises

Fear thick in my throat

Clouds my vision

Speaking your name brings down retribution

Of all the despicable things

That lurk within my shadows

I am never the right choice

All I can do is deceive

I'll tear your heart out

While loving you

Blood on the pavement

My sweet awakening

Not of mine

But of lovers no longer humane

Beasts clawing for freedom

Clutching at proof and lies

As life lines

Our love will die

Kill them

While clutching to their partners throat

Fingers tightly intertwined

Love

Love out of desperation

Love in desperation

Clinging to their lovers bodies

Drinking in their hope

Having faith

That with the other

Their souls can be cleansed

Amends will be made

As the shadows fall over

Twisted and broken bodies

Made of love and mortals stripped of humanity

An Immortal love

"-All I can do is deceive

Definately the best lines.
(I can relate)
I enjoyed reading this piece very much!
It was raw, and very honest.
i also really liked the use of metaphors.
keep on writing,
i believe you'll be quite succesful!
