Broken loyalty

He was my best friend
I trusted him with my life
My secrets
My heart

He was my friend
Nothing more
Nothing less

I never asked for much
Just trust
Loyalty
And honesty

He came into my life
When I needed a friend
He told me to trust him
Like they all do

But in this case
I believed him....

Then all of a sudden
He turned out to be like all the rest
He was a lire
A fake

He wasn't my friend
He just needed someone to vent to
He just needed someone to complain to
He just needed me so he could talk about the girl he liked

But when I needed him
He turned his back on me
He made me look like the bad guy
Like it was all my fault

As they always do...

Why do I always believe that I won't end up hurt
Because so far
All I have ended up with is a broken heart
And broken trust

I am starting to believe that trust
And honesty
And loyalty
Don't even exist

This is about my ex best friend Tyler who I trusted with all my heart and soul now he is just like all the other guys who hurt me

good poem, its good to write about things and get them out. i'm really sorry that this happen to you. but don't let it effect the rest of your life forever. for every one person out there that is out to hurt you, there are so many more that want to help you. don't let your anger about the people who hurt you distract you from meeting new people who will brighten your life. :)
