From a thought to a birth; or Why are we reproducing?

From a thought to a birth; or Why are we reproducing?

A Poem by M. Kelly

   These bulimic tits,

     The ones that are astray,

Teach us moral and social ethic..

I've seen ethic in the eyes

    of Yes-men

And damned or be damned

If I have nothing to show for their ethics

                             of nausea.

Until our minds cease to wonder,

  Future civilizations will believe

our society was wrought with

    Iron and Calcite tombs

           with magnetic wireboxes

             for our own banal enjoyment.

    They might laugh

until they start to watch the program

                in their heads entitled

"Dissertation of Heredity"

Then they'll be fucked.

Very nice!
To me, this seems to be about the downfall of civilization, and the embarrassment of being judged by an outside superior. You made me picture tall skyscrapers as nothing more than tombstones of a people destroyed under their own arrogance. Kind of like in the footage of 911 when you see a poster of Britney Spears holding a Pepsi in the background.
Just as Michael said, the line: 'magnetic wireboxes' really pulled the whole thing together for me.
I truly enjoyed this.

thats nice.. i like the raw.. meticulously cutting detail to the flow.. in beat reminded me of neruda
as well the meaning speaks metaphorically on a level of pondering truths in light of perception-
yes-men..that is a classic analygy and can be perceieved in more than one way..as in those people

who conform to the will of others..followers caught in the lack of understanding will or what it
takes to be an indivisual for the right cause vs falling in line and being tossed any which way the
humanitarian winds blow... images like magnetic wireboxes speak valumes in way of drawing the

reader to dwell upon the intent of the meaning because such can be interpretted as the age
of modern man.. in all regards.. i enjoyed reading this well crafted work of overview insight, thanks

What a view into what is to come. Well written. Twisted, but damn right truthful in my opinion. Kudos.
