A Poem by samaveiled

And so i have- allowed you to scar me.
Allowed you to finally swim through me,
youre as close to me as my jugular vein,
its sacrilegious.

Fighting myself tooth and nail, and tripping
over these delusional obstacles-
my last ditch efforts to push you away
but it never worked.

Hours melt to minutes dragged 'cross your lips
your eyes, fingertips and loins aching
with a hunger i cant be afraid of.
But i try to be.

Your just like the sunshine that you love so
blinding my heart, and then warming me through
until im fevered, and thirsty...Burning
for a touch of you

Challenging the very moon, still you get your way
climbing, and conquering the pyramids
leaving me laying wide eyed, in awe-
love bleeding from me.

You bleed me in such a sacred manner
Through your eyes i am some kind of goddess
and you dont see my bare feet, or my scars
you see just my soul.
