Colour of the Silhouette

Colour of the Silhouette

A Poem by Sameeksha Vadisherla
"

just experimenting with imagery

"
Just like every other person decides to cross the lake on their own,
she traps you within,
have you heard the tales of a living nymph?
her beauty is beyond words and harmless, as they say.
God, she could even bring colours to the silhouette.
with her long, minimal locks of gold hair,
she illuminates the entire sea.
Noon is the time,
when she swims with pure elegance.
her luminescent fingertips touch the ocean floor,
and a carnation is born.
she wears them on her body as a sign of love.

Dear Sameeksha,
A very breathtaking portrait of a nymph. You have such a beautiful imagination. Her hair illuminates the sea and she wears the carnations her touch creates. I read spellbound and am so impressed! It will be great to read more of your poetry.
