A romance poem...A sort of a love letter...

A romance poem…

The Poem:

Dancing with vim and vigor,

Long before stars' dim flicker

And the leaves that wither...

Long before the winnowing

Of the wind across soul-scented

Barns and old plowed fields…

Long before our silent questions

Became aware of potentiality

And their scattered companions (answers)…

Conversely, it was “just us”,

Painted in the sheen's of love prompt,

With poignant looks at life and laughter.

Long before roots remember

soil’s drifted fragrances,

Or the five senses of the truest form,

Away from all common places.

Long before wishful thinking,

Merit and demerit,

Even instruments knowing their plectrums;

I read your eyes! I fathomed the silence we spoke constantly!

I loved you!

It is a good thing to "read" another and to be read in return. It is as blissful to be understood as it is the fire of hell to be misunderstood... I wonder how often we think we are aware when we are in our own reality and not experience the true reality of the other?
Here I feel you are in time and on key with your lover and with the reader.

Wow. So blessed to see you dear poet and friend. I was heartbroken when you closed your account but I know you have your reasons. I do hope you will come back to the family after the break. When great people and talent leave, it changes the dynamics of this wonderful family of writers. First, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the inspiration you provided, raising the bar of poetry and touching me and others in a positive and forward ways. Secondly, I do hope things will work out in your favor whichever way you decide. Life is short and we are left with the legacy we touch others like you just stated about us and reality. The Golden Rule puts others welfare before us and when we influence others in a good way, we benefit, societies at large benefit too. The golden rule makes faith come out of theory into a real action, reaction realms. You have done that and more. Be blessed...Hope to see you back with wonderful writings as ever...:)..........

You give me hope and you have my eyes stinging with happy tears for your kind words to me.
I will be here to review and support others.
My writing hurt a dear friend because the work was misunderstood and false assumptions were made. I cannot change how others may interpret my words, but I can do no further harm. I will only write direct comments to others about the topics of their poetry and avoid the ambiguity of my own poetic expressions for now. I feel like a man who ran over a pedestrian with his car by no fault of carless driving... He would still never want to drive again... I fear I am too sensitive.
