Beautiful Cries

If there was a smile for every tear that fell from Heaven

you'd bever see me like this,

and if a white sheet fell from Heaven for every persons pain

the land all over would regretably look the same.

 

But the Heavens gift would be specked with blood

and soon the white would be gone,

the sheet that resembled goodness- far gone wrong.

 

Now the red and the white has been joined by black

the colour of darkness arises once more,

and the colour of beauty new to us- soon becomes a bore.
