My Secret Desire

He caught my eye as I walked into the room

His smile had removed my feeling of doom

His gaze so warm it streamed like sunshine

His scent gave a pleasant chill into my spine

But fate was harsh and bent all my hope

Now in silent shadows all I can do is cope

Maybe his kiss would be the only remedy

He seems to be the missing piece to my life's melody

Only his touch could be the cure

Yet that would seem like frenzied torture
