Anguished Sparx

Anguished Sparx

A Poem by Samara
"

Sometime during 2011

"
How could you look so lovingly nice
When deep down inside you are made of ice
Your voice which seemed like music to my ears
Now it only brings me heartache and tears
Bittersweet memories fill up my head
Grief envelopes my soul yet I try to smile instead
The rain falls angrily unto the ground
Though strangely I seem to hear no sound
I find myself gazing at the window
The world seems so vast but I see only my own shadow
Grief has enclosed my painful heart
Into pieces I start falling apart
I've realized it was wrong to give you my all
In the end brick by brick I start to fall
If only I could go back and hit rewind
I'd start from scratch and leave everything behind
I hope to eventually learn how to forget
Because how I wish we just never met
