Stalked

Stalked

A Poem by Samuel H. Ludke

Danger around the corner,
The stalker is a loner,
Creeping through the house alone,
His shadow is an exact clone,
The knife is raised and lowered fast,
The victim only fired one blast,
The blood flows down the drain,
The vien was under tremendous strain,
Men or women no difference,
All are victims of this indifference.
Watch those you love,
When push comes to shove.
