Baby

Baby

A Poem by Samuel H. Ludke

Scrambling to make a baby,
You didn't stop to think if maybe,
You should have thought about the mother's safety.
Now she lays upon the table,
The doctors tried but were not able,
To save your baby before it hit the table,
God has warned of premarital actions,
Now your baby joins his factions,
You should have thought before you did,
Maybe you could have saved your kid.
