Lifes To Short

Lifes To Short

A Poem by samurai212

Sometimes life seems to short,
We abuse what we have,
The moments we thought,
Would last forever,
Seem to slip from our hands.

The people we love,
Seem to slip away with time,
Our desires and dreams,
Seem to drift away,
To a place that can't be found.

Life is to short,
To live with regrets,
To have anger and hatred,
Sometimes there are no second chances,
Keep your loved ones close.

When the pages of life,
Slowly begin to turn,
Days seem like hours,
Years seem like days,
Life goes by far to fast.

A truthful prose that speaks to many, I love your frank honesty, it's a characteristic lost to many of us, well done

Nice poem. Very true. Life does go too fast and people don't take advantage of it like they should.
