Wispers

Wispers

A Poem by Samantha Croix

I am tired of hearing the whispers in the halls

I know they hate me

I don't have to hear them say it

I want to disappear

I am tired of hearing the whispers on the streets

I pretend I can not see them

I feel like they are always watching me

I think about how disgusting I must look

I worry that they can hear my thoughts

I am tired of hearing the whispers in my mind

I say that I am fine

I know I am a burden

I try to act normal

I am tired of hearing the whispers

I wonder if death is silent

It reminds me a lot of how I sometimes feel, this is a very deep poem from the mind of one I can only assume I can relate to. Well done.
