Words

A Poem by Samantha Croix

So many people feel worthless

They think they are alone

They want to disappear

They feel like others are always watching criticizing

They say that they are fine

Because it is seen as a weakness

To be anything but okay

And all they want is to feel strong

To get through this

To dig themselves out of their own minds

To be a happy again

They think they are a burden

When really all we want for them is to help them

To make them happy again

To make them realize they are not worthless

To make them know

They are wanted

If only we could actually speak to each other

Words can end lives

But they can also save them

Speaking to others is the new byword to survival.
Usually you find others have the same problems, and it's brought into prospective with talking.
Humans need to talk, keeps us out the black.
