Of a friendship, a companion 
She once held dear.

The troubles that were..
Were all but true,
The dynamic did change
Once it passed through.

The friendship lay bared..
For what it was worth..
She was left to question..
Was it a blessing or curse.

Time will tell when that bridge will mend...
When the path stretches forward and shows no end.
She will reach out, when the time is right
