you are quiet / silent / breathless.

perplexed? are you bewildered by the girl
with tears in her heart
and an ache in her eyes
because the sight of you
drives her down a wall / up a river
(what an indian giver)
you bestow your heart, steal a piece of my soul
and I don’t know…
but it seems to lack a certain equability.

 

 

but hey.

as long as the hugs keep coming
the love keeps flowing
and rainbows follow rain

 

rave on you unearthly being.

 

 

I am seeing so much inside of you

and all I want to do
is love you.

 

 

love you on and on and on

until tomorrow meets forever
and always meets never

 

 

I never would have imagined

Sometimes I don't know what to say after reading your work cause it leaves me breathless... your words draw me into those deep emotions you are writing about like a magnet to steel... oh that feeling when love strikes and no matter how hard you try you can't deny it as you feel powerless like a caged animal desiring freedom. Such a beautiful piece of art this is. Wow i guess i did find something to say once I got my breath back.

So soft and deep and still, yet the rain just seems to fall endlessly as I read your words over and over. Each time I read through it, I discover new meaning and a corridor I had not seen at first. There is such an emotive cry for unanswered love that aches throughout. Just brilliant...

Wow! I could really see this very creative poem being a song! It has that special lyrical quality that makes so many songs so meaningful...the point that you make and the imagery you bring to the mind of the reader is both expressive and emotional...I particularly like how you opened and ended the poem with the repetition of "I just want to quiet/silent/breathless you...
