i saw- (a 9-11 memoir)

What did you see?

                        "I saw people jump to their deaths,

                         While holding hands"

"I saw walking injuries,

Broken bones, scratches and the like"

                "I saw bodies,

                 Mauled beyond recognizitions, just lying there,

                 Broken and defeated"

              "I saw black

               For the soot covered my vision

               And my heart"

                                     "I saw buildings crumbling

 Down

 Along with the hopes

                                     of the people inside them"

I saw everything and nothing at all.

I saw nine- eleven.
