The Angel

I wanted to write a poem that was in dedication to my boyfriends sister.

You came to me today in a dream that i had, 

Just a glimpse of your face and i instantly was sad.

My heart fluttered a little, for i am not used to seeing you 

You used to be my hero , the one i looked up to 

I miss you more and more every single day 

I can say it gets easier but the pain never really goes away.

Here one day and gone the next, oh gods ways are so complex

Why did it have to be you ? You who was taken from me.

My days are a little fuzzy now , for i cannot see. 

Cannot see past these tears in my eyes. When im feeling 

real down, bowing my head to the ground. I look up to the sky. 

Its as though i can feel you smiling down on me . I know that its real.

You'll forever be with me no matter where i go. I just dont understand why it was you who had to go..
