Dreams

I can literally control my dreams if I want so this has some truth to it. Not many people can actually do so.

Falling asleep, its a beautiful thing.

Just let my eyes close, enter darkness then dream.

Escaping this world, letting my inner thoughts unravel.

I can go anywhere in the world, don't need money to travel.

I can sleep with who I want and not be considered a s**t.

I can go up to my own mother and call her a c**t.

I can kill the people I hate without having to debate it.

I can have all the clothes in the world, never looking outdated.

I can have my dead dog back, he will never leave my sight.

I can stand on Mt. Everest while flying a kite.

I can swim with dolphins, something i'm sure i'll never get to do.

I can buy myself a car, all shiny and new.

I can have a tea party with a big scary bear.

I can laugh at the people who just stop and stare.

I can have the ability to control things with my mind.

I can make a five course meal in the blink of an eye.

I can turn grass into flowers

I can have magical powers.

I can have WHATEVER I WANT.

Don't you see?

I can dream whatever I want or please.

This is the beauty of being asleep.

One of my favorites write where you depicted a very glamours pic. of having dreams come "true" in reality portrayin` the words. I even saw you the way you`d mentioned yourself in your poem. Indeed just by your words. This poem may be a fun to write but to a world it`s very insightful .. it represents the omens of dreams they can be seen in life with an open eyes & we all can have anything we wish to .. so, why being sad? Happiness`s already we`ve brought to our heart. Nice imagery. Excellent work!

Fun for you to write, fun for us to read!
I've heard of being able to control your dreams like you said (lucid dreaming right?) and heard it's something you can teach yourself to given time and practice.
It's the beauty of sleeping and dreaming - daydreaming even - that you can escape reality and have a dream / fantasy be your reality for a moment...
