One last goodbye

Leaving the hospital knowing I’ll never see her again

The closest I’ll get will be the day she is lowered into the ground

People behind me, tears cascading down their cheeks

Mine are dry

Crying is pointless now

Crying will not bring her back

Her stupid dancing

Her atrocious singing

I made fun of her at the time

But now I will do anything to get those moments back
