On the Other Side of the Screen

On the Other Side of the Screen

On the other side of the screen,

You are reading the comments people wrote.

“Your a s**t”

“Go jump off a f*cking bridge your not funny”

“Ugly b*tch”

“I hate you”

“You are f*cking ugly”

A tear rolls down your face as they keep reading.

People say “just turn off your computer”

Or “just ignore it”

But it is not that easy,

Because everytime you look at your phone you see the notifications.

You tell yourself to ignore them,

But a part of you wants to know what people think of you.

So you keep reading.

“Go die”

“Your voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard”

“You just wasted 2 minutes and 46 seconds of my time”

“f*ck you”

“Go back to your country”

“I hate you b*tch go die”

Eventually you listen to the comments.

None of this would have happened if people never sent those comments.

So please,

Do not be a cyber bully,

Because there is a person on the other side of the screen.
