For Jo

I want to feel the sound

of birds chirping 

as we sigh

to see time fly.

I want to write a silly little poem 

to keep you amused,

to be forever together

and breathe through this life.

Let me back into your garden,

i once belonged

forever insentient,

lost in your dreams.

Give me your love,

lend me your eyes,

your soft feather touch 

wisdom and soft lies.

And as we meet today

we'll meet tomorrow

and the day after that 

and the days to follow.
