Touching Depths

Touching Depths

A Poem by Satish Verma
"

Touching Depths

"
Celebrating life,
untaming the vampires.

With yellow, green fingers
you pick up the fallen fruit,
to take a bite,
without any ceremony.

I will not take any name
without you.

The Eden burns. You still do
not know what is good and what
was evil.

Looking into my eyes, you
stop batting. The vampires
were roaming around.

The sea was red as if all
the suns had taken plunge in water.

I am still alone
counting my slips.
