Those Eyes.

Your eyes. 

A blue sea that never seizes to end.

A harbor in my heart that stays at safe bay. 

Like the lightning breaking from the clouds, 

and the blue, a dangerous stray. 

Like an electric wire, 

gone off on fire. 

Sparking into my heart, 

sizzling into the deepest ends. 

Brilliant.

Just as soft as the sky,

And as calm as a windless day. 

Never once has it ceased, 

to take my breath away. 

I'd swim in them forever,

and take all the pain away.

Healing the darkest parts of my heart,

I never thought I could reach.

Dazzling.

And, I can't stop myself from staring,

because I'm scared I'll never see them again. 

 But, can you blame me?

The horrifying thought of blinking,

frightens me to the very end. 

Flawless.

So when I wake up every morning, 

I'll remember those eyes, blue as the sea, 

and brighter than day. 

Can you blame me for thinking that, 

those eyes won't remember me one day...?

Ohhhh! Gosh! Yay! Lol. Ok. Sorry about that. Eyes, tis' one of my obsessions. I absolutely, possitively adored this poem. Truly. Very describe and beautiful. I loved the entire thing.
