When I Became Homeless

a poem about a hardship I faced

It went from having carefree fun

To being alone, before I should have been

Left behind, like a discarded toy

I had to learn to provide for myself 

Without money, or a support system 

My mind awakened to becoming an adult

Before I had to

Because my mom wanted me gone

As i had become a burden 

No longer a daughter

So sad and emotional
Growing up too quickly can be very daunting
Experience such as yours does make for great writing though
Not sure how relationship with mum is now
