The Generation of Technology

The Generation of Technology

A Poem by Savanna Robbins

We are sucked into the glare

Of our luminescent screens

Concerned, what to wear

Who we can & cannot talk to

Expected to get our parents

Following others like sheep

An insult can be uploaded in a second

Without a name behind it

Able to spread lies

And not be punished

Women have become scantily clad

Men become in control again

Children exposed to adult subjects far to young

We have no boundaries
