The Creature

The Creature

A Poem by Savanna Robbins

Charcoal like skin, rough and crumbly

Red glowing eyes, peering at me

The nails over a foot long, cracking and breaking off in pieces

His putrid breath permeating the air before us

His ginormous feet pounding behind me

As I try to escape his grasp
