this is a poem about love

I woke in the morning to my own tears.
I know they were my tears,
because I share the same pain as
another human. They shocked me,
this water across my face.
This thin layer of liquid created
by my burdened heart.
If green and blue eyes make yellow,
our son would light the world
day-dreaming.
I say this to you,I love you.
