A Day

A Day

A Poem by Shui
"

Really cannot remember the context I wrote this.

"

Dawn

There was a rumour,

That when I sailed to where the sky and sea converge,

I get to make a wish.

And my wish comes true

Afternoon

There was a rumour,

That if I sat under the big oak tree, and blew into my harmonica,

The person I miss most will appear before me

With the outfit I loved, eyes glistening like the night stars

Everything I was once attracted to

Dusk

There was a rumour,

That if I traipsed deeper into the frigid cave,

I would spot a bonfire.

Engulf me in that warmth,

Wisp my worries up in those bellowing smoke.

Twilight

The time when people are cast into dormancy,

Where dreams come alive,

And the real world repelled.

Those awake suffered at the tip of the devil’s fingers

There were rumours no more.

And twilight also happens to be when I feel most alive
