Unreachable

 

In the cold darkness of the night

There I stared, looking up, mesmerized

By the sight of the twinkle in your eyes.

There I stayed, motionless, listening

To the sound of your voice

Like the sweet sigh of the wind rushing through me.

There I gazed at you, yet again,

Drifting away when I saw you smile

Again, captivated by your crystal-like eyes.

I was falling hopelessly,

Frozen in a breath of time

A moment so surreal that seemed

As if it were just a dream.

A stranger right in front of me,

But like an angel without wings,

I am amazed by all that you are

How I've longed to touch you, unreachable star

How could you be so near, yet so far?

Fate brought you back in my life once again

Impossible as it may seem,

To be loved by you was my dream.

The touch of your hand, the taste of your kiss

I've waited so long for a moment like this.

My impossible dream has finally come true

I have fallen so much in love with you.

Now all I could wish for, sweet angel of mine,

Is to be with you 'til the end of time.
