Darlings

Darlings

A Poem by scattered mind
"

this is about my beautiful niece and nephew

"

his eyes droop with sleep

her breathing starts to slow

his chest is rising and falling

her fingers twitch with dreams

his mouth forms an unknowing smile

her hair frames her peaceful face

they are both resting happily

so cute. nice write. it so perfectly captures them (true i've never seen them, but i mean them in general terms. a.k.a. kids). i love kids and this just makes me smile.

also, i detect a change in your poetry. that's a good thing. i look back at my older writings from time to time and i can see where i've improved. sometimes i cringe...never good. this is definitely a step in the right direction.
