He Closed His Eyes

When they two parted,

it left him broken-hearted.

He said he was fine,

it was his famous line.

But his chest it pained,

their love it drained.

His life turned cruddy,

his wrist turned bloody.

Now he closed his eyes

and with no surprise,

he never woke up.

-i can totally relate, many a time i say i am fine but deep down i'm crying for help and no one could ever guess. it's a really sad piece hey. as usual, the rhyming is on point, you have this beautiful way of bringing together words that just flow and that's what i love most about reading your poems.well written hey.
