She Didn't Want An Encore

She Didn't Want An Encore

A Poem by a schizophrenic writer

He wiped away his tears,
it was time to face his fears.
So he called her that night,
his voice corrupt with fright.
As he talked he grew chary
but he said he was sorry.
He said he still loved her,
she said she didn't want an encore.
It left him broken hearted,
he wondered why they parted.

you really do this whole rhyming thing so effortlessly, I'm jealous, this is really good hey, i love it, you are very talented and i love that your poems are generally short so i can read lots of them and each one has a totally different story and you still never run out of words that rhyme, takes me ages to come up with two rhyming words that will actually make sense together, lolest, well written dear. lovely poem.

thanks, it means a lot. I guess the rhymes just come to me :P
It was really vivid. Was this based on a true experience (calling up an ex, only having them turn you down) or was it just a brilliant imagery.
